New York Crime Stoppers (Case #2022-106) Animal Cruelty: On September 13, 2022, at approximately 9:00am a tan-colored female emaciated pregnant pit bull with open wounds all over her face, was found in the vicinity of the 400 block of Seneca Ave. in Mount Vernon, NY. In addition, On September 14, 2022, at approximately 11:00am another tan-colored emaciated pit bull with open wounds was found in the same vicinity of the 400 block of Seneca Ave.
The two dogs (Precious 9/13 and Grace 9/14) are currently at the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter and receiving medical treatment. We believe the pit bulls came from the same household and/or can be related. The Mt Vernon Police Department and the Humane Law Enforcement Unit of the SPCA Westchester are trying to locate any person/s who recognizes the two said dogs or can give any additional information.
