New York State Crime Stoppers, working in cooperation with the City of Mount Vernon Police Department, is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the death of a Mount Vernon man.
On September 29, 2012 at approximately 2:11 a.m. Harold Jackson was shot multiple times leading to his death. The incident occurred in a parking lot mid-block in the area of 151 South 7th Avenue, half a block north of 3rd street in Mount Vernon, N.Y.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the New York State Crime Stoppers hot-line at 1-866-313- tips (8477) or to go to the NYS Crime Stoppers Web Site and download the New York State Crime Stoppers mobile app and provide their information from their smart phone. Callers who use the hot-line or people who download the mobile app will remain anonymous. Phones utilizing the mobile app will not be traceable.
