Reward Offered for Shooting in Mount Vernon (NYSCS Case # 2018-11)

New York State Crime Stoppers, acting as a resource for the City of Mount Vernon Police Department are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the death of David “Villa” De Grace.

On Tuesday, August 28, 2018 David ”Villa” De Grace was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound in an apartment in Levister Towers, 240 South Seventh Avenue, Mount Vernon, N.Y.

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call the New York State Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-866-313-TIPS (8477) immediately. Callers can remain anonymous. There is no caller ID on the New York State Crime Stoppers hotline phones.
