Reward Offered Regarding Shooting Death of Thirteen Year Old in Mount Vernon, NY (Solved)

(NYSCS Case # 2016-08) New York State Crime Stoppers, serving as a resource for the Mount Vernon Police, is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the shooting death of a thirteen year old girl and the wounding of a male victim.

On Saturday, December 31, 2016 at approximately 2:30 p.m., Shamoya McKenzie who was a passenger in her mother’s card was shot and a male victim was also shot while on the street. The teenager died from her wound. The incident occurred in the area near the 300 block of East Third Street, Mount Vernon, N.Y.
