(NYSCS Case # 2016-02) Reward Offered to Help Solve Sexual Assault in Woodbury, NY

New York State Crime Stoppers, acting as a resource for the Town of Woodbury Police, is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the Forcible Rape of a female.

On December 25, 2015, at approximately 5:30 a.m., a female was walking on Ridge Road in Highland Mills just past Highland Lake Estates when a vehicle, believed to be a two door sedan pulled up behind her. A male Hispanic passenger got out of the vehicle and accosted the female and forced the victim into the woods. After the suspect got out of the vehicle and approached the female, the vehicle proceeded North on Ridge Road. The suspect is believed to be a bald, male Hispanic, clean shaven with stubble and a Central American accent. After the assault the suspect fled on foot in a Northerly direction on Ridge Road toward Seven Springs Road. Highland Mills is a hamlet in the Town of Woodbury.
