New York State Crime Stoppers, acting as a resource for the Yorktown Police Department, is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the baseball bat attack of four persons. Any information, however insignificant it may seem could help to solve this case.
On Thursday, April 16, 2015 at approximately 11:30 pm, four local residents were camping in Sylvan Glen Park (Off Lexington Ave near Route 202)in Yorktown when they were attacked by two unknown men who hit the campers with baseball bats. Three of the four victims were hospitalized for their injuries. The attackers also damaged one of the camper’s vehicles in the parking lot with their bats.
