New York State Crime Stoppers, working in cooperation with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office and Mount Vernon Police Department is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of a Mount Vernon female. All callers can remain anonymous.
On August 8, 2011, Gloria Nartey, 27 years old at the time, was walking home on South 12th Avenue in Mount Vernon when she was struck by a bullet fired at another person resulting in her death.
