
New York State Crime Stoppers, in cooperation with the Westchester County Police and Pleasantville Police, are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of a 76 year old Pleasantville woman.
On Thursday, October 30, 2014, a mail carrier noticed the mail piling up at 79 Grandview Avenue in Pleasantville, N.Y., the residence of 76 year old Linda Misek-Falkoff. The mail carrier contacted local police who responded to the scene and discovered Ms. Misek-Falkoff deceased, having been stabbed to death in her home. The crime is believed to have occurred in the week or so prior to the discovery of the deceased woman on September 30, 2014.
