New York State Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the City of Syracuse Police Department, is offering a
reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to the whereabouts, arrest and conviction of Eric
Woody, wanted for the shooting homicide of Shqair Shqair during a robbery of Sabatino’s pizza store on
Ballantyne Road in Syracuse, NY at approximately 1:00am on October 1, 2013 .
Eric Woody, age 24, is described as a male black, 5’8” in height, 149 lbs with a tattoo on his right arm that

Anyone with information, such as the whereabouts of Eric Woody is asked to call the NYS
Crime Stoppers hot line call center at 1-866-313-TIPS (8477) or to download the New York Crime Stoppers

313-TIPS directly from the App. A reward will be paid to anyone who provides information that directly leads
to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this crime,” stated Robert Keller, NYS Crime
Stoppers program director. Keller further stated,” Regardless of the method used to contact New York State
Crime Stoppers, the caller can remain anonymous”.
