Reward Offered Regarding Cortlandt Robbery/Assault

New York State Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations in Cortlandt, N.Y. is offering a reward of UP TO $2,500 for information, such as the identity and whereabouts of two male perpetrators believed to have assaulted and robbed a 54-year-old male developmentally disabled male resident of the Mohegan Park Home for Adults located in Cortlandt, N.Y.

The robbery occurred in front of the group home for adults at State Route 6 and Lexington Avenue at approximately 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2012. The victim was approached  by two young male suspects as he was on the pathway back to the facility. He was approached from the Lexington Avenue area, assaulted and robbed. The victim was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital where he was treated and released.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, such as the identity and /or whereabouts of the perpetrators is asked to immediately call the NYS Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-866-313-TIPS (8477). A reward will be paid to anyone who provides information that directly leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspects responsible for this crime. Callers can remain anonymous if they so choose.
