Cash reward up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for vandalism of public and religious locations in the Town of Yorktown.
On January 4, 2020, in the early morning, on both town and private property, a number of acts of vandalism were discovered.
- Four glass doors were shattered at the Yorktown Stage.
- A menorah was toppled at Veterans’ Field.
- Multiple windows were broken at the John C. Hart Memorial Library.
- Windows at the First Presbyterian Church and the St. Patrick’s Catholic Old Stone Church were destroyed.
- A menorah was damaged on the grounds of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church on E. Main St., Mohegan Lake.
