Reward Offered for Information Regarding Hit-and-Run in Newburgh

New York State Crime Stoppers, acting as a resource for the City of Newburgh Police Department are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a hit and run that left man dead.

Fred Woolsey, 90 years old and a retired United State Marine, was found injured by City of Newburgh Police at the corner of Grand Avenue and Park Place at 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2017. He was taken to St. Luke’s hospital where he was pronounced dead.
