(NYSCS Case # 2015-18) New York State Crime Stoppers, acting as a resource for the Ramapo Police Department, is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the hit & run death of 52 year old William E. George.
On December 21, 2015, Mr. George was riding his bicycle along Route 202 between Spook Rock Road and Old Haverstraw Road when he was struck by an early model Chevrolet Tahoe, Silverado or Pick-up between the hours of 10:30p.m. and 11:00p.m. The vehicle is believed to be dark blue in color with damage to the passenger side and front end. The vehicle is missing the passenger side light, part of the grill, antenna and the flare that sits over the passenger side front tire.
