Reward offered to Help Solve Homeless Man’s Murder (NYSCS 2014-16)

New York State Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the New Rochelle Police Department is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible the death of Lowell R. Edmund Jr., a homeless man known to frequent th Any information, however insignificant it may seem, could help to solve this case.

At approximately 11:50 pm on Monday, May 26. 2014, Mr. Edmund was found bleeding badly from his head and later pronounced dead at Montefiore New Rochelle Medical Center. Citizens with pertinent information are asked to call the NYS Crime Stoppers hot line at 1-866-313- TIPS and may also go the NYS Crime Stoppers web site and use the links to download the New York State Crime Stoppers Mobile App to their iPhone, Android or Blackberry and provide information to us directly from their phone. Citizens can call our hotline direct or send us an email tip or photo tip through the app. Information provided through the app is also anonymous and the source phone is untraceable and the app is encrypted. Both the hot line number and the New York State Crime Stoppers app can receive tips in English and Spanish.
