New York State Crime Stoppers, in cooperation with the New York State Police BCI in Somers, NY is offered a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the stabbing of a twenty five year old female who was walking a dog. At approximately 11:30 pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 as the feamle was walking a dog at Bouton and Gilbert Streets in South Salem, New York a person described as a white male wearing a dark colored hooded jacket or shirt approached the female and began stabbing and physically assaulting her.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYS Crime Stoppers hotline 1-866-313-TIPS (8477) or to download the New York State Crime Stoppers Mobile app and providing their information. Callers must obtain their confidential ID number and the information they provide must lead to an arrest and conviction to become eligible for the reward.
