New York State Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the New York State Police B.C.I. in Middletown, N.Y. are offering a monetary reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the hit-and-run death of an 86 year old man who was checking his mailbox when he was struck by a vehicle traveling east on County Route 1 in Westtown, N.Y. The incident occurred on Monday, August 26, 2013 at approximately 5:00 p.m. The vehicle involved is believed to be a silver 2008-2013 Chrysler or Dodge mini-van.
