Mr. Robert Keller has been named Director of Operations for
New York State Crime Stoppers, Inc..
Mr. Keller has been involved with Crime Stoppers programs for
over seven years. In January of 1998, Mr. Keller was appointed
to the Westchester Crime Stoppers Board of Directors. Later,
he was appointed as the Director of Public Relations. Mr. Keller
instituted innovative marketing and public relations efforts
and the program soon became a vital part of the Westchester
law enforcement community.
In January of 2000, Mr. Keller was elected as Chairman of the
Board for Westchester Crime Stoppers. During his tenure as Chairman,
Mr. Keller continued to build the program, increased the level
of service to police agencies, developed programs to uncover
unreported crime, and established Westchester Crime Stoppers
as one of the most responsive “tips” programs in
the state.
In May of 2003, Mr. Keller became Executive Director for Westchester
Crime Stoppers and assumed the responsibility of all day-to-day
operations of the program, including fund-raising, inter-agency
communication and relations, over-site of the hot line, special
events and program development.
During Mr. Keller’s seven years with Westchester Crime
Stoppers as its Director of Public Relations, Chairman of the
Board and Executive Director, Westchester Crime Stoppers assisted
police agencies in making numerous arrests for such crimes as
homicide, car jacking, armed robbery, bank robbery, assault,
reckless endangerment, recovery of fugitives and more.

the media, business owners and the general public in Westchester
and throughout New York State. He is a talented administrator
with compassion for the victims of crime. He has made a real

Robert Pavone, Chairman of the New York State Crime Stoppers
Board of Directors.
“I’m delighted to take on these responsibilities
and promote the Crime Stoppers approach on a larger scale.” Mr.
Keller said.
Mr. Keller graduated Monroe College in New Rochelle, New York
with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Computer Science
and Criminal Justice (Summa Cum Laude) and is a Westchester
County resident.
