Reward Offered for Identity and Whereabouts of Abduction Suspect and His Vehicle.

New York State Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Hawthorne, N.Y., is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the identity and whereabouts of an abduction suspect that directly leads to his arrest and conviction.

Early Saturday morning, September 29, 2012, a female subject (victim) who was waiting to be picked up by the representative of a friend at the intersection of Dyckman Street and Broadway, in the Inwood section of Manhattan, was approached by an unknown subject (suspect) whom she mistakenly believed was the ride she was expecting. The victim entered the suspects vehicle and shortly after discovered she had errantly entered the incorrect vehicle. The suspect refused to allow the female victim to leave the vehicle and subsequently prceeded to drive the victim into the City of New Rochelle on the New England Thruway (I-95) in Westchester County.

The suspect forcibly took the victims cellphone and wallet, preventing her from securing assistance. As the vehicle was approaching Exit 16 on I-95 the victim seized an opportunity to escape from the suspect and jumped from the moving vehicle. The suspect left the scene without stopping. The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male, between 5’4″ and 5’8″ with a goatee (around mouth). He is further described as well groomed and well dressed. The suspects vehicle is described as a BMW SUV, white in color with tinted windows, probably an X5.

Reward Offered Regarding a Robbery/Sexual Assault in East Fishkill (Case Solved)

NYS Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the East Fishkill Police Department is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information regarding a robbery and sexual assault that occured on Holmes Road in East Fishkill near Interstate 84. On Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at approximately 10:40 pm a man entered a woman’s home and confronted her at knifepoint demanding money and then sexaully assaulted her. The alleged suspect is described as a male Hispanic approximately 5’6″ tall with a stocky build wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans with his face covered.

Reward Offered Regarding Sexual Assault in Bedford

NYS Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the Town of Bedford Police is offering a reward of up to $2, 500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person reponsible for a sexual assault.

On May 17, 2012 at approximately 5:00pm an 18 year old female was walking on the trails behind St. Matthews church in Bedford when a man described as a white male, approximately 6’2′ tall weighing approximately 220 to 230 lbs approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect had salt and pepper hair combed from front to back with a full beard with one to two inches in growth, He was wearing a heather grey t-shirt, faded blue jeans and black shoes.

Reward Offered Regarding Cortlandt Robbery/Assault

New York State Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations in Cortlandt, N.Y. is offering a reward of UP TO $2,500 for information, such as the identity and whereabouts of two male perpetrators believed to have assaulted and robbed a 54-year-old male developmentally disabled male resident of the Mohegan Park Home for Adults located in Cortlandt, N.Y.

The robbery occurred in front of the group home for adults at State Route 6 and Lexington Avenue at approximately 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2012. The victim was approached  by two young male suspects as he was on the pathway back to the facility. He was approached from the Lexington Avenue area, assaulted and robbed. The victim was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital where he was treated and released.

Tips to NYS Crime Stoppers Lead to her Identity, Theresa Clinding Charged with Grand Larceny in New Rochelle

On June 26, 2012, NYS Crme Stoppers received information identifying Theresa Clinding as the person seen in a surveilance video from a restaurant in New Rochelle, N.Y. After further investigation, the New Rochelle Police issued a warrant for her arrest. She has been avoiding capture and arrest for several weeks. NYS Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the New Rochelle Police Department offered a reward of up to $2,500 for information, regarding the exact whereabouts and arrest of Theresa Clinding, believed to be the black female who entered the basement of the Rangoli Restaurant located at 615 Main Street in New Rochelle , N.Y. on May 26, 2012 at approximately 6:25 pm and removed $13,000 from the safe. The same woman is believed to have committed similar crimes at three restaurants in Stamford, Connecticut and one business in Cross River, N.Y.

On September 3, 2012, Theresa Clinding was arrested by Nassau County Police based on another crime she is alleged to have committed in Nassau County. New Rochelle Police issued a warrant and on September 27, 2012 Theresa Clinding was brought to New Rochelle and charged with Grand Larceny and Burglary in New Rochelle City Court. New York State Crime Stoppers considers this case closed.

Tip Leads to Initial Suspect’s Arrest – Two More Suspects Charged, One More Suspect Sought In Gas Station Robbery

A tip to NYS Crime Stoppers led police to Leonard King, 23 of New Rochelle (pictured above) after a reward was posted on June 5, 2012. King was arrested by New Rochelle Police on June 6, 2012. New York State Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the New Rochelle Police Department is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information such as the identification and whereabouts of the remaining fourth suspect responsible for the robbery of the Sunergy Gas Station located at 690 Main Street opposite Webster Avenue in New Rochelle.

On September 26, 2012 New Rochelle Police reported that two more suspects. Jonathon Bryant of Brooklyn, NY and Cory Elliot, address unknown,  pictured below were charged by New Rochelle Detectives with first degree robbery. One accomplice has yet to be charged in the robbery. Information provided to NYS Crime Stoppers regarding the recent two suspects charged was immediately brought to the attention of New Rochelle Detectives who investigated further and charged them.

On Saturday, May 12, 2012 at approximately 6:30 p.m. three black males entered the Gas Station. One of the alleged suspects brandished a black semi-automatic handgun believed to be a Glock and robberd three patrons and two attendants. An undisclosed amount of cash, between 3,000 and 10,000 in scratch-off Lottery tickets and cigarettes plus the personal property of three customers and one attendant was stolen.

Reward Offered Regarding Hit & Run in Poughkeepsie

New York State Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the City of Poughkeepsie Police, is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for the identification, arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a hit & run that left a Poughkeepsie woman with serious injuries. The incident occurred on March 31, 2012 at approximately 2:28 am on Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

The vechicle, which immediately fled the scene after the accident, is beleived to be a (2001-2005) GMC Yukon Denali, white in color, with white running boards and white side mirrors. The vehcile sustained damaged to the right front grill, right front fender, windshield post and mirror. Anyone with information about this incident that might lead to the indentification of the driver or owner of the vehicle in question should immediately contact the NYS Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-866-313-8477. Callers may remain anonymous if they so choose. The female victim received serious injuries and remains in Westchester Medical Center after numerous surgeries.
