Reward Offered Regarding Body Found in LaGrange New York
SOLVED
New York State Crime Stoppers in cooperation with the New York State Police is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of a woman found dead in James Baird Park located in LaGrange, N.Y. outside of Poughkeepsie.
In the early morning of June 12, 2011, fire personnel from La Grange Fire Department encountered what they beleived to be a brush fire in James Baird State Park, only to find a badly burned and unidentifiable human body. The body, beleived to be that of a female light-skinned Black or Latino with a distinguishing tattoo on her lower back is described as being 5’09″ in height, 150 lbs wearing blue jeans, black flat shoes with beads and a green shirt. A silver or light gray four-door sedan was seen in the area around the time the body was discovered.
A person of interest has been developed during he investigation who is described as a male, approximately 5’10″ to 6′ in height, 200 lbs, medium build with olive skin, dark brown hair and eyes wearing a long sleeve shirt with khaki light colored pants. ( See Sketch)

A reward will be paid to anyone who provides informatio that directly leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this young lady’s death.
